Who we are
Nine, a venture studio in Egypt. TODO(legal): legal entity name, registration number, registered address, contact for privacy questions.
What each form collects, and why
Submit a problem: the problem in your words, who has it, where (Egypt, GCC or other), how you know, your name, email and, if you give it, your phone. We use it to study the problem and to contact you if we take it further.
Apply as a founder: your name, email, phone, city, LinkedIn profile, what you have built or run, which problem excites you and why now. We use it to screen founders and to contact you about your application.
Get notified: your email, the products you chose and your language. We use it only to email you when those products launch.
Contact us: your name, email, organisation (optional), whether you are an investor, partner, press or other, and your message. We use it to reply to you.
Every form also stores your language, the campaign tags (utm) of the link you arrived from, if any, and the version of this notice you agreed to.
Abuse protection
To limit spam we store a one-way, salted hash of your IP address and of your email with the time of each submission, and forget them after a day. We never store the IP address itself.
TODO(legal): name Cloudflare Turnstile if it is switched on.
Analytics
Only if you allow it: we count visits and which path you chose with PostHog, hosted in the EU, under a random id kept in your browser. No ads and no selling of data. Say no and nothing is sent.
Your browser also remembers whether you paused motion and your analytics choice.
Where it is stored
Form entries are stored in a database run by Supabase. A short copy is emailed to the Nine team inbox that handles that form. TODO(legal): processors, regions, transfers, retention periods.
Your rights
TODO(legal): access, correction, deletion, how to ask, applicable law (Egypt PDPL; GCC laws where relevant).
